All women and men of reproductive age will achieve optimal health and wellness, fostering a healthy life course for them and any children they may have.After participating in this activity, you should be able to:
- Identify concrete ways to provide respectful, patient-centered care when serving patients during their reproductive years, by:
- Confronting common barriers, including personal biases, to providing this type of care
- Employing ‘universal trauma precautions’ for all patients
- Adopting an attitude of cultural humility as a critical element of this type of care
- Interacting with colleagues in a respectful way
