In 2016 leaders of the public health workgroup published a seminal manuscript with a call to action for advancing preconception health and wellness: Catalyzing a Reproductive Health and Social Justice Movement, Maternal and Child Health Journal (April 2016). This group has a unique interest in assuring that the preconception health movement includes a focus on equity and reproductive health and justice. A redesign of the workgroup’s plan and ‘charge’ is underway.
